In the U.S. it is estimated that 400,000 children are in foster care. Many countries and untold number of children are not included in these estimates.
KidSave is a non-profit organization that, among other things, trains and encourages government agencies responsible for children without parental care to take on family advocacy programs and methodologies.
One of the many programs they have is Summer Miracles. They are seeking families to host a child for 6 weeks this summer. This session will explain what all this is about, and answer any questions. Sessions will be hosted by members of the LGBTQ community who have hosted and are in the process of adopting.

Hosting children with safe and caring families helps shine a light on older children who need families but are often overlooked. Hosting gives kids the opportunity to experience family life and to meet people who might adopt them. It also engages the community in new ways around children in foster care and institutions who have long been hidden from view.
Join KidSave for a no-cost information session, and possibly make a huge difference in the life of a child.
