Brief survey on "hot topics" in parenting

Researchers at the University of Kentucky are currently conducting a study (IRB# 16-0523-P4S) about parents’ attitudes toward contemporary parenting issues.  We’ve designed a simple, 20-minute survey, which asks participants to read three recent New York Times articles addressing “hot topics” in parenting. Participants will then share their opinions about their articles, and moreover, answer some questions about their own identity as a parent.

The survey is brief and can be completed at a location of your choosing (as long as there is access to the Internet). We ask that interested participants be at least 18 years of age and identify as a parent. We are hoping to recruit a diverse sample of parents, and so we greatly appreciate your help! To take part in this study, please click on the following link:

Before participation, you will first be directed to an informed consent document, which outlines the study in more detail. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact Andrew A. Nelson atandrew.nelson.226@uky.edu or Dr. Rachel H. Farr at rachel.farr@uky.edu. We thank you for your time and willingness to aid important social research.
