When: Sunday, October 4 – 2-5 PM

Location: Washington Convention Center, 801 Mount Vernon Place Northwest, Washington, DC 20001

The Black Student Fund’s (BSF) Annual School Fair will take place on Sunday, October 4 from 2 to 5 PM at the Washington Convention Center.

The BSF’s Annual School Fair provides parents of pre-K through 12th grade students an opportunity to learn about participating independent school’s programs, community, admissions requirements and financial aid process. In addition, the fair features interactive seminars focused on the admissions process, the financial aid process and personal/family financial management. Since 2009, the BSF has worked in collaboration with the Latino Student Fund to connect Latino students to independent schools as well.

Rainbow Families DC will host a panel that afternoon regarding the experiences of LGBT families navigating independent schools in the metropolitan area.
